drivers for my scanner

I have downloaded a driver for my scanner from the
internet. How do i install it now so my scanner can find
it. Every time i install my scanner it says this driver
is missing.please reinstall it.this is the diver its
looking for, stiaspi.dll need some help Thanks Ron,
