XP service pack 2 ??????

I am tired of downloading 40+ updates EVEN after sp1 where is the Service
Pack 2 for Windows XP ????????? ANYBODY know when its coming ?????

According to Microsoft, service pack 2, for XP, won't be available 'til next
year, 2004. I've heard estimates as late as end of 2004.

Unless you have a broadband connection, then yes, downloading the extensive
post SP1 fixes (many of which are critical security updates) can be
daunting.
