Lost Icons from Desktop

Hi all,

I must have installed something and lost all my icons from the desktop and
my quick launch icons as well.

I know they are there but don't know how to get them back.

A few months ago i lost them again after installing a program and
uninstalled it and got them back now I dont know which program it is and i
really dont want to spend ages to figure it out....

your help will be appreciated...

i am not too expert with XP, but did u tried right clicking on your desktop and go arrange icons by > show desktop icons try if it works for you
