Default WMI trace.log

A trace log is generated in the WMI folder. This log
keeps growing until it becames unmanagable. I can not
erase it because it is being used by another program. How
do I get rid of this thing - and stop it from being
generated????

Hi,
my solution was to get the tracelog_setup
http://www.microsoft.com/windows200.../tracelog-o.asp
and install the pogramm tracelog.exe
I have copied it to C:\
and
simple under command window
C:\tracelog -stop
C:\tracelog -x
