try this matey.
This will re-install wmi into the registry: Go to Start/Run and type in:
CMD, then Winmgmt/? for information. Then run each of these hitting enter
after each:

winmgmt /clearadap
winmgmt /kill
winmgmt /unregserver
winmgmt /regserver
winmgmt /resyncperf
