Greetings Madeline,
To turn off the automatic login, click the Start Button, then click the Control Panel. Then, click User Accounts in the Control Panel. Select your account name, and then on the left side of the screen, under Related Tasks, click 'Manage my Network Passwords'. In the window that opens, click the Passport.Net\* (Passport) entry and click 'Remove'. ____________________________________________ Jonathan Kay Windows MVP, Messenger Associate Expert http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com "madeline richardson" <madeline@litteton.freeserve.co.uk> wrote in message news:06b501c33eed$b5188480$a301280a@phx.gbl... > hey - can anyone tell me how to stop windows messenger > from signing in to my account whenever we connect to the > internet? it doesnt ask for a password - and so any > member of my family has easy access to my emails (which > isnt a good thing) - so please please help me!!!!!!! |
