Default deleting win msgr


I want to delete Win Msgr. This runs every time Outlook
Express is opened and I dont know if it is neccesary to
the for O/E to comunicate. I'm running Win XP and have
tried adding/removing Windows components but with no joy.
I just use MSN Msgr 6.0

Greetings Lee,

Since you're using MSN Messenger 6, you should leave Windows Messenger installed. This is
because Windows Messenger is still required for Remote Assistance/Whiteboard and Application
Sharing to work.

Instead, you can just stop Outlook Express from running Windows Messenger. To do so, close
Outlook Express, then download and run this .reg file:
