I want to delete Win Msgr. This runs every time Outlook
Express is opened and I dont know if it is neccesary to the for O/E to comunicate. I'm running Win XP and have tried adding/removing Windows components but with no joy. I just use MSN Msgr 6.0 |

Greetings Lee,
Since you're using MSN Messenger 6, you should leave Windows Messenger installed. This is because Windows Messenger is still required for Remote Assistance/Whiteboard and Application Sharing to work. Instead, you can just stop Outlook Express from running Windows Messenger. To do so, close Outlook Express, then download and run this .reg file: http://messenger.jonathankay.com/do...essenger_oe.reg ____________________________________________ Jonathan Kay Windows MVP, Messenger Associate Expert http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com "Lee" <fleamour@tiscali.co.uk> wrote in message news:27f901c33f2e$541650e0$a401280a@phx.gbl... > I want to delete Win Msgr.
