video with messenger not working

I have a problem using the video on mesenger. When I try
to start the cam it doesn't start, only a black screen
shows. It works fine on paltalk and yahoo but not with
msn mesenger. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

i am having the same problem....someone needs to address
it!!

try running amcap before attempting a VC if you are having problems. It
seems to initialise the camera and audio properly ready for messenger.
