Default windows explorer opens after restart

This is caused by an invalid entry in the startup, check
again the msconfig for any folders/entries that don't
actually exist.

You can manually check

In the Startup Folder for the current user, and all user
group
In the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersi
on\Run
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersi
on\RunOnce
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersi
on\RunServices
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersi
on\RunServicesOnce
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Userinit
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersio
n\Run
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersio
n\RunOnce
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersio
n\RunServices
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersio
n\RunServicesOnce
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows
