WinXP Pro - RDP Connection Lockup.

Hello,

When I connect to WinXP Pro box using RDP and type correct user/pwd nothing
happens, eg desktop is not shown. As I discovered by experiment means :-) I
have two possibilities from that point:

1) I can wait but after a minute or so RDP client times out and WinXP Box is
locked and needs HW reset,

2) I can go to my WinXP box and tap any key on keyboard and *whoaaaa* -
users desktop appears on remote desktop client.

What a strange coincidence between logging remotely and tapping keyboard. I
think that machine is waiting for something after logging thru TS but before
showing user's desktop. Pressing any key on machines keyboard satisfies thah
wait but I don't know what is it waiting for. event log shows nothing in any
case metntioned above. Gfx card is ATI Radeon VE. Do you have any clue ?
