I have a small 4pc LAN at my main office. All pc's are
running WinXP Pro, are networked with a Linksys BEFSR41 router and connect to the internet through DSL with a static IP address. I would like to connect 2 remote users (#2 & #3) (seperate locations, both running WinXP Pro) to one of the PC's (#1) at the main office which has shared multi user programs. I am Makeing the #1 pc a VPN server and will be making the #2 & #3 pc's VPN clients. How do I add them to the #1 pc as users so that the can be added to user permissions in the VPN server wizard? Thanks Andy |

You will need to create user accounts with the same logon
name and password on the #1 PC. You will also need to allow VPN traffic through the router. If you are using PPTP as your tunnelling protocol (most likely) you need to forward traffic on TCP Port 1723 to #1 PC (If you are using L2TP it would be Port 1701). Hope this helps >-----Original Message----- >I have a small 4pc LAN at my main office. Also make sure you enable "PPTP Pass Through" on the Filters page for PPTP VPN.
