Default Windows license restored due to system error?

I just noticed that I'm getting an occasional error in my application log:

-- The Windows license was restored due to a system error. You might
need to reactivate your Windows product.

I haven't noticed this before. We have a valid license for our product, and
it has been running fine.

We haven't seen any problems associated with this error, so I'm just curious
as to what may cause this error.

Thanks,
Pete

This is probably the wrong NG.
We are dealing with XP-Embedded.
There is no activation in there!

But that's the funny thing... This is from an entry in my application event
log on my XP *Embedded* system...

Peter,

Just out of curiosity, it is Event 1010 you are seeing in the Application log?
