Default Do away with all the Log Files

Is there a small script that will delete all the installation Logs scattered
throught the windows directories. Some of these are pretty large and I
doubt they are needed after the image is built and stable.

If not, I guess since all my clones will be exact duplicates of my "Golden"
image I could delete them all manually.

You can delete most of them offline, without problems.

Richard,

I don't think such script exists unless someone has created it.

You can definitely delete the log files manually (online or offline) or
create a simple batch that will do the job.
The files you are likely going to wipe out are \windows\fba\fbalog.txt,
\windows\setupapi.log, \windows\setuperr.log, even \windows\*.log.
You can also clean up Event logs (system/application/security).

However, I don't think deleteling the files above will give you much
additional space.

Great, Thanks. I'm down to 94 megs and still trimming. With all the
additional drivers, application, and files I'm about 120 megs without
compression so I'm he
