Default XPe - cant get basic WinLogon Config working???

Hi,

I have used both TA and TAP to ceate a devices.pmq on my token 'Target PC'

Then created a 'simple' WinLogon (following import of devices.pmq)

Have 2nd Partition formatted with NTFS

Modified BOOT.INI to provide multi-boot.

When I boot off 2nd partition (with XPe image loaded) I get the following
'Blue Screen'

BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO

Technical Information

++++ STOP: 0x00074 (0x0003, 0x002, 0x80088000, 0xC000014C)

Any idea what I am doing wrong??

Bernie

Bernie,

You mentioned 2nd partition. What's on 1st (system?) partition? If it is
Win2K, then you are likely having an issue with ntldr compability. Replace
ntldr on your system partition by the one from XPe repository or from XP
Pro.

Btw, you don't need TA output if you run TAP.

If the above does not help, search here

Thanks, KM

You were exactly right, 1st Partition is W2K - replaced NTLDR and
NTDETECT.COM with XPe equivalents - Problem solved.
