Default ftp client/database error

I want to include an ftp client in my configuration. If I use TD to search all
components for a component with "ftp" included in its name TD only finds a
server component. So I used a filter to scan the component database: [Component
contains the following file [ftp.exe] OR Component description contains [ftp]].
After a long delay I got the message: Configuration Management Interface (CMI)
Error, Code=0x80042335, Description = A database error occurred within the CMI.
For more information see the application event log. The application event log
included 2 entries related to this error, 1) Utilities method referenced a non
existent registry key or value, and 2) Method Utilities.LocalRegRead failed.

So I'd like to solve two problems: 1) what is the problem with the database and
search filters, and 2) where do I find the ftp client? I searched Google Groups
and found that question #1 has been asked before but not answered.

Henry,

I am not sure about your Database problem (perhaps not enough RAM for XPE Tools and SQL server running?) but "Other TCP/IP Services"
is the component that holds the ftp client.

Henry,

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I was able to create the filter you mentioned below and perfectly use it on my two XP dev machines
(512 and 1024 RAM).
