Hi
I have the following problem. When I attach a serial scanner on embedded xp and I activate the serial input support under the accessibility options with COM1 and the baud rate of 9600, the scanner works in notepad fine I can read the scanned barcode and the scanner works all over fine. When I restart the computer and open the notepad again, nothing happens when i scan a barcode. It work only again, when I reactivate the accessibility options with the OK Button Any ideas?? Hi Alex,
No idea at all. But could you tell us how it is working on Windows XP Prof. If you can make it work there like you want it then you can always mirror that behavior on XPe. Use tools like regmon, filemon to track changes made to registry during the setup on Win XP Prof. Regards, Slobodan ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Have an opinion on the effectiveness of Microsoft Embedded newsgroups? Seeks like the problem has been known:
