FBA starts then stops?

Hi

I have XPE on partition 2 on Virtual PC,have NT4 on first partition. Both are NTFS partitions. when xpe is chosen from boot
menu, seems to boot ok, get splash screen then fba starts, after a while it just stops and xpe background appears with no start menujust light blue background screen with nothing added.I have added user inteface component, checked start menu options, added explorer shell. Below is what is in the fba log

that's it nothing else. Anyone any ideas
