Default playing after recording on cd

I was hoping I would be able to play a movie recorded
from a CDR using Windows Movie Maker on my laptop DVD
player or any DVD; but it doesn't work. It will only
play on Windows Media Player.????

I can play recordable CD's from Ulead's PictureShow 2.0
(VCD or SCVD format)to a DVD but I can't seam to record
digital camcorder movies to Ulead's program, which is
another problem I will talk with them about.

Can anyone help???
Kelly

Default Re: playing after recording on cd

Movie Maker burns WMV files on CDs, and then adds a HighMAT menu structure.
None of today's DVD players can play the WMV files.

See the CD and DVD burning sections of www.papajohn.org
