After running the licence copy of Windows XP Embedded,
the image build still have informtion on the bottom right of the desktop to say it is a Eval copy. To overcome this I need to provide a PID ? I can only locate Tracking ID which is a 14 digit ID on the package which I got from the local distributor. Is this the correct ID, Please advise. |

Hi Sunny
Please review all the preposted news. The PID is written on the COA (Certify of Authentity). This is the license sticker in the licence package. On every sticker is a own PID printed. (5 x 5 chars) You have to take the PID from the first COA and enter the code into your Platformbuilder (Platform Device Settings) You can use then this code for all devices with this image. -- Martin Grossen AVNET EMG Silica FM/FAM Microsoft Embedded Europe Your competent partner for Microsoft Embedded licencing ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Sunny" <sunnyk@cyberway.com.sg> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:04d301c33d26$31f75450$a501280a@phx.gbl... > After running the licence copy of Windows XP Embedded, > the image build still have informtion on the bottom right > of the desktop to say it is a Eval copy. > > To overcome this I need to provide a PID ? > > I can only locate Tracking ID which is a 14 digit ID on > the package which I got from the local distributor. > > Is this the correct ID, Please advise. > > |
