Browsing for XPe computer in workgroup fails

OK. I have an XPe system which is a member of a
workgroup. If I browse using file explorer for the XPe
system from another computer, I see the workgroup, but
don't see the XPe system. If I type in the XPe system
name, file explorer goes to the system. The workgroup is
reported as unknown. Using Remote Desktop to get to the
XPe system works fine, too. If I browse from the XPe
system, it finds its workgroup and itself in that
workgroup, and all other workgroups as well. Eventually,
after a couple of hours, the XPe system shows up in its
workgroup when browsing from another computer.

Any ideas?
