Hi i am having a small problem installing the samsung GPRS modem drivers that
come with the Samsung easy studio software. Everything else intalled fine except for when i goto install the driver via add new hardware this is done ( auto ) after i finish installing the easy studio software. I get to selecting the ports i want to install the modem on and there is nothing there no COM ports to select so i can not go any further any help would be great as i am getting a headache with this ( LOL ) thanks again in advance PCP |

And how does this modem attach to the PC?
Is it USB connection or Serial Port? If Serial, then:- Does your PC or Laptop have a serial port? If it requires a serial port and you only have USB ports on your PC or Laptop, then one can purchase USB to Serial Port Adapters. You'll need to install the USB to Serial Port adapter and start again with GPRS modem. If you have the correct adapter available and it still isn't happy call the manufacturer and ask for HELP setting up their lousy device.
