I've purchased some pc's with Home Edition and need to upgrade to XP Pro. Is
there a XP Pro Upgrade or do I just purchase the XP Pro software? I'm trying to save on the difference and purchasing the XP Pro is not cheap but I have yet to find an Upgrade XP Pro software. If anyone can answere my question please help ASAP. thanks -- West Texas |

Yes, there is an upgrade version of XP Pro.
I can't imagine not being able to find it. Most computer retailers carry it if they sell software. If they have just been purchased then contact the vendor about exchanging the OEM Windows XP Home for OEM Windows XP Pro. It will have to be completely reinstalled but the cost may be cheaper than purchasing the retail upgrade version of XP Pro. And the retail upgrade to XP Pro should be available from any major computer or office supply store. Good luck Ron Martell Duncan B.C.
