Default Welcome Screen

I'm using Windows XP Home Edition and have downloaded Service Pack2 recently
with no problem. Yesterday I deleted PrintMaster 11 and installed
PrintMaster 16 and discovered that PM 16 deleted all my PM 11 work.
Thinking I could recover the work I went to System Restore and restored my
computer to the last date in bold. That put me in a mess with PrintMaster
11 (and my files didn't come back) so I reversed the System Restore.

Now my Welcome Screen comes up with a split screen - Welcome on one side,
and an icone with my name on it on the other. I now have to click on that
icon to start windows. I went to User Accounts but can't get that plain
Welcome screen that just shows for a couple of seconds and then everything
else loads.

I not only have to re-build my PM work (because I'm a jerk that didn't back
it up), but I can't get my computer back the way it was. Can anyone help me
with the Welcome Screen?

Default Re: Welcome Screen

Go to Start, type "control userpasswords2" without the quotes in the run
box and press enter.

Uncheck the option to require a logon, click "apply" and follow the prompts
to setup an autologon.
