My PC crashed yesterday. It is a big problem and Windows
wont boot. I have removed my HDD and attatched it as a slave to another PC. I have copied some of my files over however most of my data is in my 'My Documents" folder. when i attempt to move my "my documents" folder it says access denied. I believe this is because on my last PC my documents were protected so another user couldn't view them. however now this is keeping me from moving over my files. it is EXTRMELY important that i save these files. I have 100's of hours of schoolwork as well as my website and freelance graphics work in this folder. Please help me someone. |

As long as the files were not encrypted, you can regain access by taking ownership.
