Are you sure you don't have some other security software that is blocking
the download, did you turn off popup blocking before entering the site as sometimes doing so once you reach the site is already too late. What about cookies and ads, are you blocking as such blocking options might prevent a download. If this does not resolve the issue, please try your question on the inetexplorer.ie6.browser newsgroup. -- Michael Solomon MS-MVP Windows Shell/User Backup is a PC User's Best Friend DTS-L.Org: http://www.dts-l.org/ "rich" <rich@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:1DE66BD1-E041-4EE1-B4AC-F627C2D76A60@microsoft.com... > apart from the pop-up blocker, sp2 also has a download blocker. it will > take > affect if a responce takes too long or if it appears that the download was > activated indirectly. deactivating the pop-up blocker does not deactivate > the download blocker. lowering security settings and adding sites to > "trusted sites" do not help either. > i am prevented from downloading files that I have been able to access in > the > past. the info bar asks if I would like to continue the download after it > has been blocked but it is already too late... the responce is lost. > does > anyone know how to deactivate download blocker? |
