Is there a compatability issse between older versions of
VISIO and Windows XP? My VISIO files no longer open. I had my computer to receive automatic updates and believe this is the reason for this problem. I tried to re-load VISIO from the original disks and even that would not work. (I'm using VISIO V2.0.) Thank you, Don |

KB 884130 has a list of incompatible software - including stuff from
Microsoft. "Don Davis" <dondavis@mail.icongrp.com> wrote in message news:779601c494f6$261b5e50$a301280a@phx.gbl... > Is there a compatability issse between older versions of > VISIO and Windows XP? It might help if he had a full link to the article since a lot of people
don't know where the Knowledge Base is or even that it exists: http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...0&Product=winxp -- Michael Solomon MS-MVP Windows Shell/User Backup is a PC User's Best Friend DTS-L.Org: http://www.dts-l.org/ "Jerry" <NoSpamChiefZeke@MSN.com> wrote in message news:ukOGWESlEHA.3476@tk2msftngp13.phx.gbl... > KB 884130 has a list of incompatible software - including stuff from > Microsoft. > > "Don Davis" <dondavis@mail.icongrp.com> wrote in message > news:779601c494f6$261b5e50$a301280a@phx.gbl... >> Is there a compatability issse between older versions of >> VISIO and Windows XP? I didn't see it listed in the article mentioned in this thread. However,
your best bet is to check a Visio newsgroup for an answer. -- Michael Solomon MS-MVP Windows Shell/User Backup is a PC User's Best Friend DTS-L.Org: http://www.dts-l.org/ "Don Davis" <dondavis@mail.icongrp.com> wrote in message news:779601c494f6$261b5e50$a301280a@phx.gbl... > Is there a compatability issse between older versions of > VISIO and Windows XP? Last time I checked you could just type the KB article number in the search
box and you would be presented with the article. That's easier than trying to remember all those addresses. Well, he'd be presented with a list which would have links but he'd need to
know this procedure to begin with. -- Michael Solomon MS-MVP Windows Shell/User Backup is a PC User's Best Friend DTS-L.Org: http://www.dts-l.org/ "Jerry" <NoSpamChiefZeke@MSN.com> wrote in message news:uLC4h9VlEHA.3876@TK2MSFTNGP15.phx.gbl... > Last time I checked you could just type the KB article number in the > search box and you would be presented with the article.
