Default Windows XP home

How can I reinstall XP on my PC. This would be a brand
new copy. I do not want to have to re-load everything on
my PC. The original disk etc is with the computer at my
vacation home. It is important that I do not lose any
data. Easiest solution is to find how to enter product
code from new purchase. The computer that has been
activated is the vacation one.

Hi

You will need the installation disks to install Windows XP.
And if you are planning to go for a fresh installation u will have to back up the data and have the installation disks for all the programs that u have installed on your computer.

Data can be backed up. but not the program files.
