Winupdate Problem

Ever since installing SP1 we get the following message
when booting up or logging on:
winupdate.exe has encountered a problem
Code: 0xc0000005
Address: 0x000000000043586b and
Address: 0x000000000042f580
We've sent an error report but I can't find any
resolution to this problem. I'm trying to switch from
dial up service to cable and this problem is getting in
the way of setting up the new high speed service. If it
helps, the machine has a AMD 1.1Ghz processor and 256 MB
RAM. Thanks for any guidance you may offer.
