Default Renaming Registered User

Hi,

My friend bought a used computer yesterday and I reconfigured it and cleaned
up the mess. It's now almost brand new and running perfectly.

In the process of setting the computer up I changed the name of the
owner/workgroup and the change was accepted. All of the default
user/default/administrative folders now have his name and the former user's
folders no longer exist.

However when I go into Control Panel ----> System, the General tab still
shows the old user as the "registered user".

Is there any way to change this to his name?

Thanks in advance.
