startup problems on windows xp home edition

Default startup problems on windows xp home edition


when i put on my computer it starts up as far as a bleu screen with the
windows xp logo on it. I ám not able to do anything with mouse or keyboard.
the only option is shut down. Anybody out there who knows a solution????

I have the same problem except that I get to my desktop and then it "Freezes".
