direct play 8

my son just got the lord of the rings game . he cannot
play it due to the directx8 is in error . can you tell me
how to fix this . (simple terms )

a) Ensure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card and it meets
or exceeds the specs for the LOTR game. If it's the Return of the King game
the specs are MINIMUM that the card must be 32mb Direct3D compatible, and
using nVidia GeForce2 GTS or ATI Radeon 7500 or greater.

Since you don't tell us what graphics card you do have, I cannot tell you
whether or not it is compatible!

b) Download and install DirectX9b (from www.microsoft.com/directX)
