mouse options

I have this weird problem..... i don't know if anyone has
encountered it yet or not. it might be a dumb one too but
i cannot figure it out.

when i double click any of my partitioned hard drives to
open it.....a search page opens........so each time i
have to right click my hird drive and choose open to
access its contents.

when i right click it then the search.... open is listed
first instead of open option. how can i fix it?
