Default hard drive space

i have 2 hard drives and want to download a file that is
too large for 1 of them...so i point the download to the
larger of the 2 drives, but a temp file is created in the
small drive first and so will not fully download...??
how do i change the directory of the temp file which is
created automatically in my way too small drive..???

(no, i cannot free up any more space on that drive...)

Mike, try a download manager like Flashget or Download Accelerator.
They should give you more
control over the download destination.
