In WinXp Pro, I clcik on shutdown it goes through the
normal routine. The problem is that instead of shutting down it restarts. I donâ?Tt have Roxio Easy CD Creator 5.0 or Direct CD 5.0 installed on my PC, and I also unchecked the automatically restart check box, and that didnâ?Tt help ether. I got this answer Check in the BIOS that you don't have any wake events, like mouse or keyboard which would cause the PC to boot if you move the mouse or touch a key. but i dont know how to check bios? Please help me i am very distrub from this probelm from two weeks. Any help would be apreeciated. Thankyou I already check these sites and they have same answer and not helping too much. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en- us;Q313290 ---------------- Windows XP Restarts When You Try to Shut Down Your Computer http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en- us;Q311806 -------------------- Windows XP Restarts Unexpectedly or Restarts When You Shut Down the Computer http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en- us;Q320299 http://www.aumha.org/a/shtdwnxp.htm |
