Default PunkBuster

i have Call of Duty installed and i was playing online when i got kicked via
PunkBuster for an inadequate O/S. I also tried to play Americas Army and
Battlefield. Those dont work either. Would like assistance because i would
like to play those games.

Lets run a diagnostic of your system to see if we can pinpoint the problem.

In order to Create a dxdiag.txt file: Click Start / Run / type: DXDIAG
Click the "Test" buttons in the Display, Sound, Music & Network Tabs;
Afterwards click the "Save All Information..." button in the bottom row.

To post the DX diagnostic information, open the file in notepad, click Edit
/ Select All / Copy and then Paste the data into your post using Ctrl+V. If
you use Outlook Express Click Insert / File Attachment. I hope this helps!

If I remember right Punkbuster detects what OS you are running on because
some cheats are easier or possible on certain OS's and not on others. The
server owner is able to just block those OS's rather than allow them to have
a chance of cheating without being detected. That is at least how I remember
it from a couple years ago when cheating in Counterstrike was so bad. Things
may have changed since then.

I was thinking of that too, however since he's running
XP that could indicate that PB is reporting a false positive,
or perhaps that SP 1 was not installed from the WU site..
