Default goes back to desktop when trying to play a game


when im trying to play games on the computer my computer goes back to the desktop screen it says the game is running but when i click on it it goes to a black screen then back to desktop ive even tried to change screen resolutionand screen size.

Make sure you've got no other software running, it may be taking focus away
from the game, causing it to minimize.

You should also grab the latest drivers for your hardware, particularly for
your video card.

The two most common graphics cards are the Radeon
(http://www.ati.com/support/driver.html) and the GeForce
(http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp). If it's anything else
check the manufactures site and they should have drivers, in either the
download or support sections.

Along with the above mentioned,be sure and check the resolution requirments,you may need to reset (Start/Control panel/Display/Settings/Advanced/Adapter/List all Modes),just for that particular game.Good Luck
