Hi Hammer,
The first place to examine for that type of issue is dxdiag: Start / Run / dxdiag Ensure that hardware acceleration is fully enabled for your card. -- Cheers, Windows XP MVP Shell / User Jimmy S. http://mvp.support.microsoft.com Game FAQs: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=FH;[LN];gms Visit my Zone.com / Gaming Helpsite: http://nibblesnbits.tk or Call / Contact MS Support at: http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...id=sz;en-us;top My advice is donated "AS IS" without warranty; nor do I confer any rights. _________________________________________________________ "hammer" <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:7814F4EE-567E-44DD-BC75-89208991CB19@microsoft.com... | Anyone know why, before I had GF4 ti4200 and the light effects were calculated in real time, while now i have an ati 9600xt (i suppose more powerful than 4200) light effects are pre-rendered? | How can i do to have the same effects with 9600XT? | Thanks! |
