Third Mouse Button not working?

I have the logitech Cordless Elite Duo. I cannot configure the third mouse button for controls in Halo. Any ideas?

When I try to configure the third mouse button for jump, it reads 'left button'
I have the latest patch for Halo and the latest itouch drivers.

Hi Little B,

Try going into the Control Panel / Mouse Properties and pick
something different for the middle button such as "auto scroll".
