MSXML 4 Parser and Rise of Nations

Hi,

Can someone please tell me what the MSXML 4 Parser is. I
have deleted Rise of Nations which I assume this product
came with as files such as:

msxml4 x86_Microsoft.MSXML2_6bd6b9abf345378f_4.1.0.0_x-
ww_b319d8da

were created at the same time as Rise of Nations.
Therefore if I delete MSXML 4 Parser from my Add/Remove
programs list, will everything be alright?

The MSXML 4 Parser is also used with other programs. It is part of the new
style web pages and should be left alone.
