Default XPHome to XPpro ?


Good Night ! Can I improve gaming performances (FS2004), by switching from
XPHome to XPpro ? Thanks ! PB (XPHome, PIV 2.4, 1 GO de RAM, ATI 9600)

Nope. There will be no change.

In any case, I would go for Pro anyway. The P4 isn't fully supported in the
Home edition.

No performance change, but they're identical with exception of some items
such as being able to logon to a domain, file sharing and security (tightly
restrictions on Limited accounts). Underneath, however, they're exactly the
same. Don't believe people who say the Home Edition doesn't support certain
drivers or CPUs. That is false information.

it's the same thing with some features taken out for home users that don't
need it. it does nothing to performance.
