Lost file for game install, need help

Please help

I am trying to install Ataris Temple of Elemental Evil, and after the install should be finished, I get a message from windows. It states: Uhandled Exception. Error # 0x80040707 Description: function call crashed: ISRT._SDShowMsg

I have no idea what this means, but my research has lead me to believe a file in my Windows XP has been inadvertantly deleted and no longer allows me to install. I am not very knowledgable about these matters, and I am trying to fix the problem. If there is a file associated with this error that I can download as a patch, I would be most greatful

Hi PJ,

I've seen this error reported by another player, for the exact same game, therefore
it's possible that it's the game itself, and not your Windows configuration which is
at fault. Try this patch from Atari's support site, and let's hope it correct the issue:
