Default virtual memory

Hi to all,
I have a game disk that requires at least 3mb of virtual memory.
The computer has heaps but I am unable to adjust the settings in
computer management/properties/advanced/vitual memory/settings/virtual
memory/change to get the minimum allowed to show more than 2mb.
The system just puts itself into different resolution and displays
error message
Thanks
John

Default Re: virtual memory

What's the game, John. If it is an older, "legacy" game you may need to
edit the game's Program Information File (PIF) to allow for memory usage.
Are you installing using Compatibility Mode? There are details in Help and
Support.
