Age of Mythology. Encyclopedia.

Hi.

I have had AoM for about 5 months and have finally got round to giving it a good going over. Problem is everytime I try to read the encyclopedia while playing a single game, against 1 computer player, the game freezes. You can't shut the encyclopedia but if you click on something else you can hear the correct sound effect. The only way I have to dislodge this prolem is to restart by hitting thr reset button.

I have all of the latest drivers for sound card, Video (grpahics) card, Modem and Direct X.

My system is more than powerfull enough to run it, as I have played several games and a full campaign with NO problems, slow downs or freezes just as long as I don't read the encyclopedia!

Since the encyclopaedia is most displayed using XML ...
Download and install the complete MS XML Service Pack 2:
