Default planetside cpu problems

I recently bought a new laptop after getting back from 8
months at war. I then bought the new(at least to me)
planetside online game and installed it. when I tried to
play it, I got the error; "Your machine is set to allow
processor speed changing in its Power scheme. Please go
into your Control Panel Power Manaagement and set it to
stay 'Always On' while running Planetside." I checked the
power managment and cant find anything about the
processer speed, nor can I find it anywhere else in the
control panel. Can someone please help me out here, I am
stumped. Thanks.

Default Re: planetside cpu problems

Hi Mitch,

Go into the power options in control panel and change
the scheme to Desktop before playing Planetside. If
that doesn't correct the issue, change all choices on that
tab to "Never" and save it as "Planetside" scheme. ;-)
