Games wont play

Everything loads up fine but about 5 secs into the game
the game closes itself. I have checked the drivers,
directx, installed the updates, and even checked my video
card. No error messages are going into the logs

Are you in a Limited account or an account with Administrator rights?
Limited accounts are prohibited from writing changes to the hard drive in
Windows XP. If you're in the correct account, perhaps telling us which
drivers you're running and what games are involved could help determine
what's going on.

The account is correct, I am running the lastest nvidia
det drivers. I am trying to play battlefield 1942. vice
city wont work either
