Pinball itself lives in the C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Pinball directory.
Just create a shortcut to it on your desktop by right-clicking the desktop,
selecting New/Shortcut and Browse to the location above.

Chris,
Thanks for the quick response. I located the Pinball
directory as you listed, however the directory is empty.
What should I do next?

Darn, sorry, Chuck. In Windows Explorer, navigate to the C:\WINDOWS\inf
folder, locate pinball.inf and right-click it. Select Install from the menu
and see if that doesn't fire it up. The actual "base" files are located in
the I386 folder, but not expanded. I believe choosing Install on the
pinball.inf will retrieve those for you.

Chris,
Following your instructions using the Install command on
the pinball.inf file did not work. No files ended up in
the Windows NT/Pinball directory. Any other ideas?

Hi Chuck,

You might have to go through a little contortion then to get
that game working with your current installation. Here's how:

1. Choose Start / Run / Copy+Paste the next line into the RUN box and press [ENTER]:
notepad %SystemRoot%\Inf\Sysoc.inf

2. Scroll down a little to the line that reads: Pinball=ocgen.dll,OcEntry,pinball.inf,HIDE,7
and delete the word HIDE from the line so it now reads: Pinball=ocgen.dll,OcEntry,pinball.inf,,7

3. We've just added it to your add-remove program list so on to the next step

4. To add/remove Windows XP Games: Click START / Control Panel /
Add or Remove Programs / Add Remove Windows Components /
Accessories and Utilities / [Details...] / Games / [Details...] / then check
(or uncheck and then recheck) Pinball / Click [OK] 3 times to finish.

Hi Chuck,

I should have added that after you edit that file you should
Click File / Exit and choose YES to save the changes you made to the file.

Cheers!
Jimmy.
