Which version of stick are you trying to use? 550USB? If so... no need to install drivers for it... Windows has those, already. The version number may have confused you.... if that isn't it, nevermind.... 1) Try uninstalling the device (using Device Manager) 2) Plug the joystick in, and then reboot. 3) Let it detect the device, and install the drivers. |

If you are connecting the device through a VIA controlled USB port I'd
suggest updating the USB drivers for your Via Chipset at: http://www.viaarena.com/?PageID=2 -- Joshua Smith DirectInput Test Lab Microsoft ----- This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights "Dragonteeth" <Dragonteeth@Dragonteeth.cjb.net> wrote in message news:OSPKXLFZDHA.2328@TK2MSFTNGP12.phx.gbl... > > "john wright" <bldbloke@yahoo.com> wrote in message > news:025d01c36449$d388bd50$a501280a@phx.gbl... > > Hi i am having trouble installing my saitek game joystick. > > I have installed all the latest drivers, but when i plug > > in, i get a message that an error ocurred, and it also > > tells me it is a code 10 error. > > Please if anyone could help i would appreciate it. > > All the best John wright. > > Which version of stick are you trying to use? 550USB?
