I Need the lates drivers for my microsoft sidewinder
precision pro for OS windows XP,installed viserion 3.2
but not compatible with XP,getting error during startup
or shutdown??????

The version 3.x software is not supported on Windows XP. You can still
install the game port device by going into Control Panel/Game Controllers
and selecting to Add a new device and then use Microsoft SideWinder (auto
detect). There are no software updates, since those controllers ceased to
be manufactured several years ago.

Windows XP will automatically install the basic software for you, but you
can no longer program the individual controls. You need to rely on in-game
Options to change the button settings if you so desire.
