Default Around £200 to spend on a photo printer..which one?

Just going to spend about £200 on a printer for the best quality photo prints i can get for the money....the choice is big any thoughts anyone to which 1 i should buy???

I've heard some good reports about the Hewlett Packard DeskJet 990Cxi - its about £180-£200 depending on where you buy it from. Its more of an all-rounder printer, good at photos, but very good at everything else.

If you want a photo only printer, or a specialied one, try the Canon CP10 Photo Printer (photos only) or the Hewlett Packard PhotoSmart P1115.

The PhotoSmart series of printer are excellent ... but have a look at the colour ink cartridges (#78) and see if it is also for the Cxi ... if it is get the Cxi, because the printer head is in the cartridge not the printer.

I own a Deskjet 842c, and its fine for my needs. Decent all-around.
