cannot access anti virus sites HELP PLS

Mcafee.com and Symantic.com by typing it in the address
bar or using the provided link but, all I get is "we
can't find" I contacted my ISP & DELL (where I purchased
my computer) but , they were unable to help me with this
problem. Is there anyone out there who can help me? So
far these are the only two site that I cannot access.

Some viruses have the ability to block access to these sites. Try
downloading stinger to a floppy from another computer and then run it on
your system. It might find something that can be cleaned

You have a virus, I forget the name, but it disables your getting
updates. You might have to try an "online" scanner to find it and kill
it.
